MEK Substitute
I had to go to Home Depot and Lowes today. Both places had MEK substitue, not MEK.I asked about getting the real thing and they refered me from one to the other.Has anyone tried it?Jerry in MA

does not work with dissolving ABS., However, fingernail polish remover supposed to work as well., Acetone I believe is the main ingredient in polish remover.

I have used the MEK substitute and it works great. it melted the ABS small pellets just fine. I had a larger piece of ABS and took the drillings from it and it did not melt as well. I suggest using...
